What are the best & worst Christmas productions you have seen at your DCs school? For me anything done by infants is great cos they're all so sweet.... Also last yr juniors did Oliver which was brilliant. The worst was the A to Z of Christmas , with readings and a song for EVERY LETTER!! By the time we got to D is for Decorations, DS2, in audience, loudly complained of being bored. It was in a very hot room as well, felt sorry for the kids they all looked drained by the end (2 hours!).

The best ones are the ones where a child does something funny like get the giggles or pull someones hat off.

As they get older I think it is to do with how they surprise their parents with their confidence.

When DD was 4, she had been at her nursery for the previous years nativty as well, so I asked the bosslady 'Does Ella get to be Mary this year then as she's one of the eldest' wasn't expectin her to give her the part, but she did.
DD proceeded to drop baby jesus on his head, then throw in the crib with mutters of 'oh for goodness sake'.
Thankfully DS was born a few weeks later of I;m not sure how the other parents would've looked at my parenting abilities

Best one wasn't at school but at church. Pretty standard Nativity play, up until the moment the Minister's son decided to try and roast his toy lamb over the Advent candles.
