Any suggestions for bigger presents?

I do have some stocking filler ideas from another thread on here although I’m happy to hear more suggestions.

They say they ‘don’t mind’ what they get and also said they want surprises to open and not just money/ vouchers (although not very helpful in actually suggesting stuff!)

They are 14 and 15, not particularly sporty (although they like football) and not into designer clothes etc.

My younger dc want everything so I have the opposite problem there 🤣

They have fairly generous grandparents who will want suggestions too and will be asking soon as they buy early.

Help!

Vr headsets (virtual reality) my 2 teen boys love theirs.

Frogsandsheep · 03/10/2021 14:35

That’s a great idea @LactoseTheIntolerant

If any of their friends have them it's worth finding out which ones as they can meet up virtually online. It was absolutely brilliant during lockdown when they couldn't actually meet. A lot have the oculus but there are a variety of brands.

DS has asked for a pair of gaming glasses this Christmas as he games on a PC.

BatShitBitchChops · 03/10/2021 15:47

Mine are having an oculus (15yr old) and a big TV for xboxing on (17yr old)

Frogsandsheep · 03/10/2021 15:53

Does the oculus have games built in?

I am now looking at the VR headsets or a rowing machine as a main present! I hadn’t thought of either until this thread Smile

I don't think they are built in but you can download them, some are free some paid for. I'm just going to give him some money to download stuff with it.

LactoseTheIntolerant · 03/10/2021 17:57

Vr and or rowing machine sound like awesome presents, lucky boys! I think they download the games straight onto their oculus, mine spend their pocket money on games.
