stuck please make a decisionfor me regarding DD 's gifts

My 8 year old dd has asked for a bratz limo for christmas and I know she wont play with it at all as all the previous bratz she had have hardly been played with.
What she does really like is arty stuff and I would love to get her loads of it but she seems to have her heart set on this farking bratz limo which is nearly 50.oo

I am spendong around a 100.00 on her just dont want to spend half of it on something she wont use.

Woolworths had it much cheaper than that if it helps you buy it?

I hardly bought anything my DDs said they wanted, I just went with things I thought they would play with and enjoy more

So do I, I have banned Barbie and Bratz from the house, they know not even to ask!

I got the Bratz masion from Woolies for £50 instead of £100, so I'd imagine the price will be quite a bit cheaper.

Don't buy it. I caved in and got DS1 a huge T-rex Hotwheels set that he dearly coveted. He never played with it.

Don't buy it; she'll appreciate the art stuff so much more and it is a year-round present whereas a Bratz limo is just as you describe it - farking rubbish.

thankyou I have just made an executive descion she is not having it .I did sort of happen upon a pottery wheel whilst she was looking at some sites with me and she is going mad for that now lol

Dd1 asked for the same thing for her 10th b'day a few weeks back.

Like you I knew she wouldn't play with it so I didn't buy it and got other stuff. She hasn't mentioned it since.
