Ok she is struggling for money this year so she has bought my 8 year old DD a mobile phone!

No no no what am I going to do I dont want to offend her as I know she has had a rubbish year plus she is a little scary lol

Let your dd have the phone

Just don't put any credit on it. Or put a tenner's worth on, but no more. She'll probably play with the games anyway and get use out of it that way

yes my DS1 nagged and nagged for a phone, we finally let him but one himself when he was 12, still has the first £10 of credit on that he put on there in Aug and is now gathering dust in the corner of his room if only I had known it was going to be this easy I would have given in sooner and not had to put up with the nagging

My 8 yr old has one of my old phones, no sim card in it though, she plays the games and annoys us all with the ring tones.
