Don't worry, not as bad as someone I read about in a magazine.

He thought he'd just send cheques to everyone instead of buying presents, so wrote all the cheques and signed all the cards "Buy your own present!" Posted all the cards, but when he cleaned out his study in January he found all the cheques sitting in his desk.

Oh dear now that would be a disaster!!!
