Does anyone know about stunt scooters?

DD is almost 8 and has been playing on her friends stunt scooter a lot lately. I really want to surprise her with one for Christmas but don’t know what I specs I should be looking for and don’t want to get the same one her friend has.
Does anyone have any advice or suggestions please?

this website looks quite helpful :)

Decathlon website had a decent choice and had some information.

Placemarking as I asked the same question yesterday and didn't get any replies.

I just got the Maui and sons destroyer evolution from Skatehut for DS7 for Christmas. I asked them for recommendations and that’s what they suggested. 50% off at the moment so he got a little ramp to practice on as well!

Microscooters do stunt scooters and are very good. But we’ve also had good experiences with Skate Hut, they know their stuff

Obviously, as I place marked above, I know nothing about scooters, but we got the same recommendation from Skatehut. I was going to happily buy that one, until DH read that you really need metal wheel construction (ie the bits that do the job of spokes). Does anyone know if that is actually true for kids stunt scooters? I can't see DS doing anything overly daring too quickly!

Recommend the Crisp Inception scooter - really high spec, and very tough. Great for street scootering and stunts. Our son got about 3 years heavy use out of his so well worth the initial outlay, think they’re around £120 ish.

Other good brands of stunt scooters - Lucky, Nitro, Addict, Ride 858.

They do get more expensive, DS got a new Addict scooter for his 13th recently - it cost us £250!

If you live in the NW, I highly recommend Rampworx skatepark in Liverpool.
