What are your 8 year old boys hoping for?

DS will be 8 before Christmas so I need double the ideas. I think we're going to venture into gaming and get a switch lite but other than more lego, I don't have any other ideas.

I'd appreciate any ideas of what your 8(ish) year olds are into....

DS turns 8 just after Christmas so I have both to buy for and I’m struggling. On my list of ideas so far are:

Switch and DS Pokemon games (he only plays Pokemon games)
Pokeball beanie hat
Among Us hoodie
Giant Snorlax beanbag
Pokemon Dobble
Harry Potter Lego

and that’s as far as I have got.

My 7 year old wants a basketball and hoop. Among other things 😆

My 7 year old is getting Gravitrax, a big electric Lego train (the only thing he's really asked for), tickets to Hot Wheels Monster Trucks live (clearly a popular choice on this thread!), plus Santa tells me he might get him some craft bits, a jigsaw, Orchard Toys game, books, possibly an oodie or new dressing gown. Oh and a cuddly Stickman.
