Any extra for prepared Christmas cake mix

I bought a Christmas cake mix from M&S today but was wondering if anyone had any ideas of any extra ingredients I can add to make it even better.

Brandy
Extra mixed fruit
Extra spice

Nuts?
Cherries?
Chopped Apricots?
