Air / ear pods! Help which ones. I have no clue

I'm not even sure what they're meant to be called!
Da wants some for Xmas. He has a Samsung phone but also uses a Huawei so they need to be compatible.
A decent price as he's known for being careless with his belongings

Show me what I need to look for please.

We have the older apple airpods and the new version, both excellent but prefer newer ones for the fit with the rubber ends.

They link up via Bluetooth so don't need apple products to use with. For me they are worth it but for a child who won't look after get cheap ones, tk max have a good range and you can get them for about twenty pounds.

DD also asked for them for birthday/christmas.

Has i-phone but the choices are overwhelming and I am clueless
so following with interest

DD has Apple Airpods, I think they're pricey but to give her credit she's had them over a year and not lost them yet, and they're still going strong - she loves them.

I have some I got from Amazon - I don't know how to do links, sorry - they're called Joyroom JR T04S and I love them. They were about £30 a couple of years ago, battery life is fab.

I got Pisen (think that's the right spelling) from Amazon. Less than £30 and they're great and compatible with most

I bought the Tozo T10 ones that Mumsnet recommends as best value. I'm really pleased with them.

I got my DP Sony ones and he likes them. They're black and rose gold, can't remember the model sorry

DC 2&3 and I all have Air Pods - we all find them incredibly easy to lose and wouldn’t get them again as they’re so expensive. Touch wood, we’ve always managed to find them again but there have been some worrying moments! If there are cheaper versions I’d go for them instead - watching with interest
