am trying to find nice craft sets for dd to make things

she has fine motor difficulties and is 7 - want her to be able to make something nice without getting frustrated at how fiddly things are - Hama beads are definitely out, also anything that requires really good scissor skills

any suggestions?

Have you seen the large Hama beads, they are great as they work on the same principle as the little ones by are alot larger. Friend of mine bought some from one of the school book clubs - think it may have been Scholastics!

Well it was just a thought, as friends DS loves my DCs Hama, but finds them very fiddly and so she got the bigger ones, will have to wait until Christmas to see if it makes it easier.

dd had a Galt Card Factory set for her 6th b'day . Needed help with the tiny double sided sticky pads but you could use glue or larger sticky pads instead. The designs were precut so no cutting required and it all packs in a nice tin with spare bits for your own designs. Also My First Sewing is fairly chunky. Galt
