So, basically, I have NO CHANCE of getting a nintendo ds don't I ??

It is supposed to be dd2's pressie off me and practically every other family member, but can I get one, can I buggery.

Went in every shop I could think of this morning and I am sure most of them had to stiffle a laugh when I asked for one.

Have looked on ebay but am mega dubious about buying one from there.

Oh and it is actually for her birthday (12/12) not xmas, but getting one this century would be great.

HELP, any colour will do.

They are coming in and out of stock all the time, in many places. You need to find when your local shops have their deliveries and get in there fast. Some places, such as the supermarkets, will reserve them for you.

Now legostarwars for the ps3 seems to be getting hard to find - I got the last one in the shop. huge phew!!

They seem to have every colour in stock which is a bit odd, although they are limiting orders to one so maybe that us why.

Oh great thanks, all I have to do now is get hold of my brother and get him to order it, as stupidly i took the cash out of my account so now it is sat in my bag and I can't order online.

I got one in the Game Shop only last week, but maybe this week is different. Worth a try - even though it was £119?

game get them in regularly. if you ring them in the morning they can tell you if they're getting them in that day and will keep them for you till lunchtime.

I tried game this morning, they have non and said they have no idea when they will have more.

Just rung my brother, he is still at work, reckons he will be at least 40 min ((stressed emoticon)))

You may still be able to get one but it will be a matter of checking the shops every day. My local Gamestation even had wii's in stock on monday.

there seems to be a shortage of many games as well - I've just tried to order asassin's creed for the xbox 360 for dh and the delivery time on amazon is 1-2 months .

Nutty, I got one on Saturday from this site:

You had to buy a game and some other accessory with it but we obviously wanted a game anyway and bought a car adaptor so ds can play it in the car so we didn't end up buying more than we would have done anyway. Total price was £135. Ordered Saturday and arrived safely today.

Worth a try if all else fails.

Oh there was only a limited selection of games you could get with it, but we got the Simpsons one which should be ok. Also looking for Pokemon Diamond is anyone knows where we can get that.

Anyway, I reckon it is worth getting the wrong game as you could always get your money back by selling the game on ebay.

I know how you feel. £135 wasn't what I wanted to pay either (esp as Argos had them for £99) but I simply could not find it anywhere else for less. It is horrid having the pressure on you to buy something that is really too expensive isnt it?

TGRAV.com is ace and have loads in stock. They do loads of bundles just ring them to find the best to suit you.

I paid £130 when I bought a DS for dd on the weekend but it came in a bundle with My Sims which I wanted and I swapped The Golden Compass for Mario Kart which is the other game I wanted.
