NOT lego we have over 160 kg of it in the loft.

She already has toy story items, barbies, dolls, hair dresser kit. Doctors kits. Fancy dress etc
Annual pass to farm and theme park

So far we've ordered a dolls pram. And Disney frozen dolls.

No budget

Because we have so much stuff too (I'm addicted to car boot sales!) I'm doing the following:

Something she wants
Something she needs
Something to wear
Something to read

We are getting her a bike for her main gift as she has adored her scooter over the past couple of years but I think she's ready for a bike now! This will be the 'want'.

I'm still looking for ideas on the 'need' bit - she recently got a new bag/water bottle/lunch box/coat/shoes so I'll bide my time on this.

I've bought her a lovely Frugi Snuggle Suit for 'wear' and I'm going to get a personalised story book one which mentions her and her friends! I remember being amazed by that when I was about 5.

I am also doing a Christmas eve box with tickets to the theatre and PJ's and a bath bomb etc and she gets a stocking with 10 small things in like an orange, nail varnish, hair clips, place mat, winter hat, poster for her room etc.

What about a Yoto player or the new kids Alexa? My dad is buying her the Alexa and my mum is getting her the Vtech Kiddie Zoom camera

DollyPartBaked · 13/09/2021 20:58

This is what I’ve got my 4yo. I’ve got 2 older DDs so like you we have a lot. In the end I’ve cleared a lot of things out to make room for some new bits. I also do a lot of 2nd hand shopping for her so I’m not spending too much on things we don’t really need.

Barbie play set - got for £17 - Aldi
Unicorn thing play set truck thing £8 - home bargains
Paint your own Princess rocks - Aldi
Zamfam nighty
Aquarium tv puzzle thing
Lol lipstick set - home bargains
Nail art set - home bargains
Necklace and bracelet set
HP pen & notebook (loves HP because her older sisters are into it)
Puppy eyeshadow set - primark
Irish peppa book
Garden paint your own mermaid - Aldi
Barbie car - £20 Aldi
Fake Oodie that turns into a cuddle toy - Amazon- £10.99
Toy unicorn watch
Peppa pig pop it
Xmas themed clip on earrings & rings

TinselTime21 · 13/09/2021 21:19

Thank you.

I'm definitely buying less. Because she simply doesn't get the use out of it all. When at pre school 3 days. We're out weekends and the other 2 weekdays we tend to make use of our annual passes for places. She hates being in.

I'm contemplating a kindle. Because she'd love to do games on it. Like colors numbers etc.

She's normally my easiest out the 4 of them but with a huge family who buy a crazy amount (and ends up being donated unopened a year later because it's stuff she's not even wanting) it's just so hard.

She has stuff from older sister. We have more crafts than hobby craft which she loves but we tend to have to get out when the toddler is napping because otherwise it would be absolutely everywhere.
