Help needed for gifts for DS 13

I'm stuck on what to give DS 13 for Christmas, particularly as his birthday is close to Christmas too!

He loves gaming, but the things that mean most are things you can't wrap, like Steam money or a downloadable game. He has a phone, but hardly uses it. He doesn't mind reading but I need to 'make' him read for a period each day and I'm not sure that books would get him excited. He likes snuggly things and fiddly things, so I considered an Oodie, but he does already have a onesie and a dressing gown so it seems a bit wasteful. I thought about a giant Popit, which he'd probably like fiddling with.

Any other ideas?

A cool hoodie or skate shoes?

How about some kind of puzzle box that you have to figure out how to open, with a steam gift card inside.
Or merch linked to his favourite game and a steam gift card.
Other than that, I'd say if he wants money for steam then explain it means he won't have anything to open on Christmas day. He's old enough to understand.

Lots of brilliant ideas... steam card hidden in a puzzle box is a good way to make a gift card more interesting. Hoodie and sneakers are great. Will be adding a lot of these to my list.
