Ideas for a 2 yr old please

What are the best items your two year old received? What did they love to play with most when 2? DD also has a birthday close to Christmas so will have a lot at once and want stuff that will entertain her until 3!

Oh yeah, I forgot about Happyland. My mum has bought dd4 a little set for Christmas which is a Ferris wheel with people in.

Dc1, 2 & 3 all loved anything to go with the toy kitchen and is still played with by them and by Dc4 who is 2.5. The leapfrog ice cream and bbq have been hits and still going strong. Happy land was never liked by any of them. Scooter was a winner with Dc4 for his 2nd birthday and he is really into Duplo and Hubelino that works with it.

DS got a wooden play kitchen for Christmas when he was 2 and it's by far our most used toy.

My DD turns 2 a week before Christmas and on my list of things for her are:
Brio train set
Mud kitchen
Melissa and Doug ice cream stand
Wooden play food
Baby Annabell or similar doll
Doll's crib
Books
Paint sticks

(Not all from us but ideas for family members too)

I'm mainly here for ideas but to add a couple of bit hits from my DDs recent 2nd birthday...

Toot toot drivers and track set (which is ideal as you can keep adding to it)
Busy board type thing with keys,latches, buttons etc.
Trike, Duplo and play kitchen also massive hits, anything role play related.

Around 2yo my daughters got a baby doll, a balance bike, a tea set, a train set
