I have an older son so she has loads of his toys to play with at mo. Do not want to fill my house with even more toys!! Would like some nice bath toys maybe? But can't only get her those! Any ideas?

Hmmmm, tricky one. I have an older DS and then SS and we had all the baby toys when she arrived. Trying to think what we got her....she is 3 now and can't remember

My DS2 is 8 months and I haven't got him anything yet either.

Tiy could go down the collectables route and get her something she can keep or add to like a jewellry box or some wooden dfolls house stuff for example.

If you haven't got one already, she probably is not long off of liking aquadraw so she would grow into it. Or a first doll?

you can just get her those

really you can

maybe wrap up some of ds's unused baby toys for her to open, and some clothes

or get her something that she will want/need/enjoy in the summer

You are totally right mazzystar - I would happily do exactly what you said but...my dh family want ideas and are not 'happy' putting money into her account . I wish they could see she is so young it really doesn't matter! Thanks for your ideas WCL.

My DD is 10mths with an older DS(4) so we have the same problem. I've bought her a wooden doll's pram similiar to www.niknaktoys.co.uk/p179444/Wooden-Dolls-Pram-from-Pintoy.html this
She turns one at the end of Jan and I've got my eye on either a cow/tiger wheelybug in the sales. HTH.

my ds loved his wheely bug, which he got for his first birthday and has used every day since - he's now 3 and a quarter.

there are some lovely tea sets around - there's a gorgeous one from lula sapphire that i really like the look of any may get for dd's first birthday - i seem to remember ds totally got the idea of tea sets from being tiny

clothes? but that depends if you like their taste......

a lovely baby cutlery and/or crockery set?
