Why are you giving them a present. Does that mean that I have to buy ds' Beaver's leaders one too?

No, candles are a nice present when you need cheap ones. However, ds has about 6 leaders. Bugger...

Mine will be getting a card. No present. He has only been going for 5 minutes. That's my excuse.

I like candles btw.

I would want to open it on the day and light it then.

LedodgyChristmasjumper · 03/12/2007 14:36

I think it's a bit naff sorry. I'd prefer a nice candle minus the snowflake that I could keep all year round but of course i'd prefer booze.

Yes, but booze costs a lot more. A candle is a gift that is nice but costs pence.

clumsymum · 03/12/2007 14:40

DS's cubs leaders are blokes, and I definately wouldn't give a bloke a candle. I hadn't thought about giving them presents, but really we should, shouldn't we?

Esp since they took ds (and the other cubs) out for a 9 mile walk in the rain yesterday.

TBH they deserve some really good wine.

Yep, and the recipient knows it.

Give her a candle but not a Christmas one.

Give it at Christmas not now.
