My two daughters have their heart set on this for Christmas but it is £300! Cheapest I can see it is for £249. They want this version and not the old one because of all the bits on it.

Is it likely to come down in price/be on offer before Christmas?

Sadly, probably not! Maybe worth waiting for Black Friday but as it’s new, it’s unlikely.

If smyths do the £10 off every £50 you spend in October you may get it a bit cheaper, they didn’t do it last year due to COVID fingers crossed they bring it back!

Going by past Christmas’s, popular things tend to go out of stock and then up in price on places like eBay and Amazon ☹️.

I’m still recovering from the pursuit of the giant gold big surprise lol doll bloody thing several years ago. I ended up with 3 of them when I only needed 1.

If anything, I would expect the price to go up rather than down, as it is new and will probably be highly sought.

Can you make it a joint gift from yourselves, grandparents and any other relatives who normally buy gifts for your girls at Christmas and split the cost? Then if the house comes with accessories, those could be wrapped separately and given by each contributing relative.

I think £250 is the cheapest you’ll get it for or thereabouts. My DDs have seen the new one and even though we have the ‘old’ version, they have their heart set on the new one because of all the different things in it!

Argos have it for £250, if you have any nectar points can you put them towards it? Argos are also sometimes on Quidco or Topcashback, but not sure if they are at the moment.
