I’m a home bargains fan in the main, but I called into B&M to see if they had the galaxy white chocolate hot chocolate (I’ve bought a Velvetiser and it’s the best thing ever, but that’s another story).
Anyway, moseying down the aisle and I come across Christmas things.. had to look twice because there was a huge bag of silver baubles for £5 (50% off), I got two.
Then next more sale items - wipeable Christmas tablecloths (different styles) was £4 reduced to £1, packs of 25 large square paper plates (different styles) was £2 reduced to 50p, miniature snow globes with woodland animals was £2.50 reduced to 50p, plastic tumbers (different styles) was £2 reduced to 50p, plastic cups with swirly straw (different styles) was £2.50 reduced to 50p and finally bows (mixed colours including gold with mint, blush pink and Christmas tree green) packs of 25 reduced from £1.50 to 50p.
None of the items were damaged, it just seems like madness that they would reduce items when they were putting out the rest of the stock.
They have some really lovely gift bags and wrap which I stocked up on.
I bought 3 of the plastic cups for DH nephews children (I don’t know why we buy them as I’ve never met them-again different thread), for 50p each and thought I could add some gold coins in them and maybe a selection box for Christmas, cheap and cheerful but I’m sure will go down well with them.
Anyone else seen sales in their local B&M’s?
