I usually get the teachers flowers but I can't really get a man flowers!

We've got dd1's teacher a Beanie hat (he is young & groovey though!)

A nice, naff Christmas tie, which plays a tune and chosen by your DC!

It's an English thing - even if you don't eat them yourself, you keep them in the house to offer round!

One of my male colleagues was once given a tin of curry for Christmas - hilarious! Will ask in the staffroom tomorrow and see if I can help out. Methinks alcohol will feature pretty prominently!

Actually RachMumof2, DD's Y3 teacher last year used to wear all the ties his class chose (by themsevles in most cases) for him. Bit more personal than a bottle of whisky!!

I'm sure men eat chocolate. Cheaper than a bottle of whiskey.

And depending on the person - a naff tie. (my sons' headteacher wears all sorts of naff ties).
