Help - Am totallty lacking creativity gene - need to make sheep's tail TODAY

All please help - I got thrown out of any classes that were vaguely creative but desperately need to make a sheep's woolly tail for DD by tomorrow

I seem to remember making pom poms by winding wool round a card then cutting thorugh the ends ???? Anyone get any really good ideas

Instructions for making pompoms. Could you make a long card (depends if you want a docked sheep or a natural one) with a hole right down the middle & wind round that? The problem would be with the thread that holds it together - I think you'd have to tie it at both ends so it holds it tight along the length but not from end to end iyswim.

Or you could try stuffing one of those fluffy white socks - the chenille type.

And as it's raining cats and dogs I'm sure my 3 year old will love assisting whichever option I go for

Tip from ex nursery nurse mum - if you are going out to buy wool, you can get a fluffy, bobbly type of wool, which you can wind round a cloth and then sew on to costume. Like the sock idea, though!
