Soft toy dog with puppies in tummy

I am looking for a nice one of these. Anyone seen one? I am sure they were in when I was a teen, so 30 years ago, but now can only find hideous cartoonish ones.

I had a 'Pound Puppy' and I loved it. I'm 38 now.

I had a puppy surprise. I know they re-released them but no idea if they are as good as I remember. Mind you I think mine was pink and blue, so hardly "realistic"

Some places still do the pound puppies but the newborn not mum and pup ones.

Only ones I have ever seen are the new puppy surprise ones which basically look like the beauty pageant answer to cuddly dogs

They don't make them any more, I got some off ebay though. Lots of searching and checking but several years later they are still going and obviously we're old to start with. Top tip- sellotape is good for getting fluff off.

Puppy surprise I remember being so jealous when my sister got one back in the 90’s.

They sell pound puppies in www.toylandtoyshop.co.uk I was in the store only yesterday stoking the ears of one 😂

If you don't care about the puppies being 'inside', Manhattan Toys do a soft dog called Nursing Nana which has magnets to let the puppies latch on and feed! We have the cat version (Nursing Nina) and it is just gorgeous.
