It's been a while since my kids were young, what is a good gift for 18 month old boy, preferably a toy of some sort. I can't remember what was popular with mine at that age! Budget up to around £30-£40

My DS was 18 months last Christmas and a toot toot garage and a few cars were a huge hit and still played with daily. Such robust toys.

My daughter is a about 22 months but she loves duplo and has done for a few months. I have older children so we already had lots of it in the house, I think it's pitched at slightly older toddlers but she loves it!

Mega blocks are always a good choice

Mines 20 months now and for the past few months he's loved the following

Toot toot cars
Musical instruments
Happy land (he adores the people and animals)
Any playfood and kitchen accessories
Boxes
Puzzles (especially ones where the pieces have pegs on them to make putting the pieces in easier)

Bubble machine
Scuttlebug
Aquadoodle mat
Wooden fruit and vegetable sets, plus a shopping basket or trolley

Our will be 18m and as PP said he bloody loves the toot toot toys so will probably get him the garage.

Just started being interested in those types of toys
