What would be the most stylish (cheaper)alternative to a Kitchenaid Mixer?

BIL has been on to me this morning about getting a mixer for my sister for Xmas.The kitchenaid is beyond the budget at £329 so we are looking for the best alternative - any recommendations?

Kenwood mixers are good and last forever - something like this?

There is a white Kitchenaid on Amazon for £180 if that helps at all.
