so are nintendo ds unobtainable as well now?

if only I'd known - would have bought ten of them a month ago and cashed in on ebay .

had been considering getting one for my ds as well but guess that decision has been made for me now .

Some of the marketplace sellers on amazon are showing as having them in stock, although I am not sure how confident I am of how up-to-date they are.

My local Sainsburys has had them in recently, they were in last time I was there.

well np have just checked argos/comet/toysrus. argos are out of stock, and comet/toysrus aren't even listing the consoles which would lead me to believe they're not going to be getting them back in.

Asda had tons of them in on Wednesday, and I think Argos and Game are getting them in, but you have to be quick: I saw them on the Game website on Wednesday afternoon, thought I'd order when I had a quiet moment, and an hour later they were gone! Then some wonderful mumsnetter said try Asda and we got two black ones no trouble!

my bil has been ringing game up once a week and buying wiee's (sp?) from them and has been selling them on ebay for up to 300 quid a time.

I got argos to text me when they came into stock and reserved it then. Sadly the text came through at 3.51am and scared me to death but I got a pink one for my daughter.

Most other sites and shops claiming to have them are actually out of stock.

Advise your dad to act quickly is my advice.

This isn't going to be much help to anyone looking for a DS lite - but I bought a couple of games for dds last month from HMV and with it came a free pink carrying thing. If anyone would like it you're welcome to it - dds hate pink! Still unopened, in its box. [email protected]

Although Amazon.de have stopped shipping Wii consoles to the UK it looks like they will ship the DS Lites, I just tried on the DS white (£98) obviously I didn't checkout but it seemed to let me choose my home address without any problems.

Pink and silver seem to be out of stock in many places but lots of pleaces in Sheffield have the white or black ones.

I got a ds for dd at the weekend. Game had pink and black ones, gamestation had white silver and black.
Game had a better package but I really don't like that shop so I price matched at gamestation (owned by the same company but our one is really friendly) and was going to trade in one of the games straightaway as I didn't want it and add a few more pounds to buy a second hand copy of Mario cart but the man in the shop let me do a straight swap for a new copy so I got the colour and games I wanted and a great price!

My local Morrisons do them. Well, I saw a staff member carrying a dozen of them in her arms yesterday, lol. Didn't realise they did them, and we shop there every week, lol.

Asda has them but only selling them one per person
Also if you go to comet/curry's (sorry cant remember which) they sometimes keep them hidden behind the counter so if you only want the actual DS and no games then it pays to ask as most of the notices on the shelves are for bundles
