I've two boys to buy for.
I have a football Jersey for one of them and a lot of bears for the other plus I will get a small Lego set each.
They love playing on their tablets. They like cars but have all that. Have a trampoline and football goals.

Ds wants an Nintendo switch but they are so expensive and I would need to get them both one.

Any ideas?
They've grown out of their imaginext stuff and remote control cars etc.

My twins asked for Nintendo’s last Christmas, they were 8. They have played with them less than 10 times all year. Utter waste of money but mine aren’t big fans of gaming.

Why would they both need one? Get two controllers and use it on the tv. Choose games good for two players

Knex (my 7 year old got some for his birthday and is really into it at the moment)
Meccano
Board game (mine loves Monopoly, Labyrinth, chess)
Magic set

That's an idea about getting one.
Knex sound good.

Mine are girls 9 & 7. My 9yo has been asking for a switch for 2 years now, we are getting it this year. We are getting the proper switch not the lite version, that way it can be played by both, she can also play with her friends remotely (apparently. That’s DHs department). The other thing on her list is poppits or other new fidget toys.

All my girls are very much into Harry Potter and Star Wars. A baby Yoda was on the list but I ended up just buying one just for the sake of it, honestly it was for the kids 😁.

HP Lego has been a stable the last couple of years. We are building it up each year. They get a big set between them each year and sometimes the smaller sets.

My 7yo has asked for an invisibility cloak this year.

Last year we got one a metal detector and the other a microscope which they love.

They got hoverboards for their birthdays. We wouldn’t normally spend so much on birthdays but they had 2 lockdown birthdays and like everyone else we hadn’t done any activities for over a year at the time so decided to spoil them. They also got the go kart attachment with them. Well worth the money as they love them, even my very uncoordinated 7yo mastered it within the hour.
