erm looking for the above for DW for Christmas (romantic devil I know), but have one question: we don't do foreign (it always goes pear - trust me) so I guess I don't need to spring for the european version (720 I believe) and can settle for the 520 UK version. But, should we lose the plot and decide to go to France one day, will I be kicking myself, or can I buy a card with the Yurpean maps on it and upload???

Yes I'm sure you can. Look on the Tom Tom site. I bought the GB one and it has revolutionised my life! I used to get lost, panicky, trying to find cricket and football venues, but no more. Am about to use it to take DD to her piano exam.

tom tom site confuses me (and I'm a techhead!) - it seems to suggest that I can buy different maps so long as I have a big enough capacity memory card. Guess I'll give it a shot. Thanks
