Santa Days out for a 9 year old boy?

All being well, we will be visiting family in the north over Christmas this year.

Traditionally we take all the children out for a day out somewhere to visit Santa.

DS9 is the eldest of all of his cousins and although he does still believe, I think this will be the last time so I would like to make it special.

Lots of the places I’ve looked at cater to children much younger. Can anyone offer any ideas on where to visit Santa in the northern regions? We are happy to travel but not too far. Smile

Depends which area you’re looking for.
I’m in Teesside and lots of places near us haven’t announced Christmas events yet.

I’ve seen a couple of events in Newcastle advertised on Facebook and I know the polar express is already taking bookings.

If you’re more in the Yorkshire area, Stokeld park are adverting tickets for their Christmas event as available from 11th September.

Simpsons is supposed to be good at Christmas time, I've not been personally but I have family that take their kids every year.

Kielder winter wonderland is good, but I'm not sure how much availability is left by now, it books up early.
