What can i make from old c.d's for christmas crafts?

got quite a few freeby c.d's know i can decorate and hang on tree, but someone else said something about turning them into snowmen???? and does anyone else know of anything else i can make with them for 8 children?, some are 2yr old so maybe just decorating is best for them?

I have an Usborne Christmas ideas book and they made snowfalkes and stuck them onto cd's then hung them up

you know where you kinda fold a circle of paper and snip away to make a snowflake??!!

ooh sorry Anniebear, that was for sarky not you...that sounds nice, we've made snowflakes already!, but can you beleive i dont have any white paper!, all coloured stuff!..never thought about putting them on discs tho, that sounds pretty

The ones with gitter glue look really nice hanging in a window actually. They are all sparkly and pwetty. The snowman is easily turned into a Father Christmas as well, if you change the colour and shape of his hat, red nose and white foam for a beard.

ds made a strange thing in his craft class - the cd was a base for a pin cushion made like a little hat,with cd as brim- fabric over a foamy bit in centre for the pins - a bit odd -gave it to my mum !

you can paint them in metalic acrylic paint.I kids r small u could stencil the shape first then let them fillin with colour
