Are there any really big givers, or is it better to buy cheapo cards and donate seperately?

I buy really nice cards in January or just after Xmas in the sales so they're really cheap then give a donation in Dec to a chosen charity

I get them from here - 80p in £ goes to charity. They set up 'shops' in various locations but you can also buy online.

Last year we just sent out emails and donated money to charity. I have a bit of a problem with Christmas cards (yes I know, bah humbug) - the sheer waste and pointlessness, not to mention partly because I'm just so disorganised at actually writing the blasted things.

I still sent cards to people without email of course.

Haven't decided what to do this year yet...
