Last Christmas was a doddle as she wasn't mobile so had huge tree which she just stared at. This year, well...she doesnt walk yet but climbs like a stone monkey and is fast. I cant imagine not having a tree but how do you do it without them electrocuting themselves on the lights or pulling it over???

We had a small fibre optic one on top of a sideboard outwith reach, but it's not the same as a big tree dripping with decorations!

the novelty will soon wear-off and she'll get used to after a few days.

We used to do the same as byu - a plastic one on top of a sideboard. Got used to having a huge real one as mine got older but now got dd3 who's crawling and so back to fake one again for a couple of years......
