Best places to buy earrings from?

As above, please please please could you give your recommendations for brands / jewellers who sell good quality earrings? I'm looking to gift some nice gold ones but struggling due to popular jewellers having poor reviews.

I love Etsy for earrings, there are a lot of sellers on there from small, independent businesses doing unusual things. I usually search for items made in the UK which you can easily do on there.

I buy all my jewellery from gemporia and have gone away from high st stuff all together. Genuine gemstones, proper gold, silver, gold coated etc. I have to admit I'm pretty addicted to the auction app but there's some really affordable deals.
