A few people have asked me how they should thank the person who sent them something - can I suggest you post on here? Namechange if you want to remain anonymous, and remember that your donor won't know your MN name anyway - so maybe give some clues (ie "thank you for the lego and the chocolate")

I posted a thank you to the starr family in a different thread for the lovely books and bits & pieces. totally unexpected, i just wanted to make sure that you had my thanks.

also, another parcel arrived this morning - two sets of vans for my daughter, she will be absolutely delighted! without wanting to be dramatic, she will find it strange that she has two pairs of new shoes at the same time! thank you so much, it really is appreciated.

Another parcel Xmas has definately come early this year. A big thankyou to "justabout" - did i get that right? My little girl was so excited to open the parcel and you should have seen her face when i attached the little star to the light fitting (it now accompanies two home made fishes). I think i am going to have to put my deccies up early this year, im usually there the weekend before xmas but my DD is clearly getting into it this year (2.5) and im actually excited about xmas now. I think that this whole secret santa thing has played quite a big part in that.

I have mine packaged to send but have not had a chance to get to the post office (poxy cold, I walk out the door and have a sneezing fit) will ask dh if he can take it into work and post it from there.

Last posting date is officially December 20th, so don't panic (but probably don't leave it quite that late!)

Thank you so much to the mnetter who sent dds such lovely presents. I just got a wonderful parcel with a disney colouring book, activity books, a doll, hair accessories, - lots of lovely things. They're going to be so thrilled. Dd1 has had a tricky year and finances are really bad atm so i'm so pleased they'll have some lovely things to open. Thank you so much.

I would just like to ay having only been amember of mumsnet since July I love the warm fuzzy feeling it gives me sometimes and I would like to thank the real star of all this lapin who must be uber organised.
I also nominated myself a couple of months ago when dp hours were cut at work but things seem to be sorting themselves out now but thanks to mumsnet (& lapin)Christmas didn't seem so much of a worry

Had a Red jiffy bag full of wrapped gifts for ME well i think so as there was only one label.

i just want to say whoever done me THANKYOU! i was so overwhelmed by your generosity i cried! i am guessing my hormones are all over the place still.

all the packages of clothes for my dds are fab and i will definately give the nappies a go- when i figure out how they work!!

my bag of goodies is great i never have the money to but bits like that for myself.

i just wish that i could have been as generous to my ss!
