A few people have asked me how they should thank the person who sent them something - can I suggest you post on here? Namechange if you want to remain anonymous, and remember that your donor won't know your MN name anyway - so maybe give some clues (ie "thank you for the lego and the chocolate")

Hi Shiny Happy.

Glad they arrived safely - was worried about it feeling like a total cop out/totally boring to have got you vouchers but I thought it was better for you to have the choice about what to get!

Merry Christmas to you and yours

G xxxx

I have another giver

Thank you ever you are that sent a baby bath with goodies for my bump we have bought nothing new for this baby, everything is hand me downs from DS1 and 2 so will be lovely to have something new to give him when he arrives including the softest teddy i have ever felt - he is LOVELY.

Thank you "Another Mumsnetter"

PillocksSecretSanta · 10/12/2007 13:42

Pillock, I'm so glad you liked the money box/chocolate and tigger etc. I had no idea of your circumstances other than that you had two boys. I felt a bit apologetic that i couldn't send very much, being in vaguely similar circumstances myself.

I do wish you the most wonderful christmas. I hope 2008 is SO much better for you all.

I feel christmassy now! yay!

TimeForMe · 10/12/2007 13:45

I would like to say a big thank you to the lovely mumsnetter who sent a gorgeous little teddy and a fab sparkly makeup set for my dd and a FCUK set for my son.

The teddy has already been claimed and named by dd, she loves him! He has been christened Henry and is never out of her sight

My son is equally as delighted with his present.

Thank you once again, you wonderful person you! xx

Thanks for the mumsnetter who sent us a lovley gift today it had no name but some ducks a dog and some toy cars. It really cheered us up after one hell of a shi**y day. Thank-you.

thankyousomuch · 10/12/2007 20:30

Coolchristmasfairy. The other parcel arrived this afternoon.

Thanks for being so thoughtful and wrapping the boys' presents and enclosing a list. They are going to love them. You have been so incredibly generous.

DS1 is going to have to elbow me out of the way, though, as I will be itching to have a go with his metal detector.

Thanks also to whoever nominated me for this appeal. It's incredibly moving to think that someone out there has been sensitive enough to imagine what a virtual stranger has been feeling.

Big thanks also to that lovely rabbit for organising all of this.

Have a wonderful Christmas. xxx

camillathechicken · 10/12/2007 21:19

Thankyousomuch
I'm glad the parcel arrived safely! It's a small contribution from us to you and you deserve every bit of it! If there's anything else I can help out with, do CAT me and let me know! Have a fabulous Christmas!

madmumNika · 10/12/2007 22:39

To the wondeful mumsnetter who sent us so many pressies... I am overwelmed by your kindness & generosity. The big box arrived this morning (& was immediately opened by DS!) and it made me cry I was so happy- DS has been playing with the toys all day, and he's now asleep with the plane wrapped up in his arms! and DD is very happy with hers too. And on top of that to then receive more parcels We are so very grateful, you have really made me feel so happy, and after this year I am so very touched by the thoughtfulness of you all. I can't say thank you enough! Have a wonderful christmas

Much love to mumsnet! xxxx
