Haven't bought much at all yet; am totally disorganised this year.

DD1 - have ordered her a fashion book and a DVD off Amazon - that's it so far.

DD2 - Pippi Longstocking and Charlotte's Web books and some Charlie and Lola stickers.

DP - Guiness flavoured chocolate and have ordered him some modern drama and poetry from Amazon.

Everybody else - naff all.

Am beginning to panic now but have no inspiration at all. And it seems that Amazon is taking ages with orders, so even the few bits I've ordered aren't here yet.

SO - any ideas much appreciated!

Sparkler · 24/11/2007 23:10

janite - that's why I started this thread. I was hoping to get some ideas too.

Finished all my Christmas shopping about 4 weeks ago. Have bought all sorts including a steam train, socks, pyjamas and a Fred Dibnah book, to name but a few...

janeite · 24/11/2007 23:25

Okay Sparkler - tell us a particular individual you need an idea for and we'll see what we can come up with!

Stop! You're all scaring me! Surely true Christmass shopping doesn't begin for about 4 weeks?.......

sparklyjen · 25/11/2007 10:20

The thought of doing Christmas shopping in December scares me! All those crowds and queues and last minute this'll-have-to-do purchases!

MrsCarrot · 25/11/2007 10:20

I have got dd (6) some sylvanian families off ebay for a bargain. It's the old house so it's like the one in the dvd she watches. Also got her some Dorothy slippers that I'm making a bit more sparkley by putting gemstones on the bow, she will love them.

I got LO (10 months) an old fisher price record player, also off ebay. I looked round the shops for something like that where they could actually play something not just press buttons but there's nothing, so I got the original. He also has a pushalong sheepdog.

DS1 (10) is getting some teifoc stuff where they can build a house/castle/garden or whatever with a trowel and cement. It can be washed off and reused. They all have pyjamas and some craft stuff like paint by numbers, a couple of books and so on.

DH is hard, will probably get him a bottle of something, an unusual foodstuff and maybe some socks. Not very original!
