My dd came up to me about an hour ago waving a sealed envelope asking if she could run to the post box down our street, when I asked what it was she told me it’s her Christmas list. I tried telling her that if she sends it now she can’t change it but she didn’t care. Given the post box can be seen from our front door I had no real reason to say no. Apparently she didn’t want me to see it because I always talk her into changing her mind, which to be fair I do.

So now my 7yo wants to do hers tomorrow which will mean my 4yo will also want to do one 🤦‍♀️

Any chance she’ll tell you what’s on it? 😅

Apparently not, though I’m taking my 7yo out shopping tomorrow, I’m fairly certain she will spill the beans without a bribe, but I’m willing to bribe her if I have to 😂

Last week there was talk of a DJ set…

Oh how sweet! I'd be tempted to leave a little candy cane (if you can find them this time of year?! If not maybe another treat!) and a note saying she was the first child to send a letter and a little treat for doing so, make the most of it. She probably won't believe next year!
On the bright side, sending off their letters early means no changing minds so you have plenty of time to look out for sales etc!
