It was supposed to from you know who. Am thinking of giving it on Xmas day anyway but from us.

It's the first Xmas they're aware of you know who so desperately don't want to give the game away before we've even started.

Say it's for another child, whose birthday is soon?

PestoMonster · 23/11/2007 16:39

Say you've bought it as a present for someone, but haven't wrapped it up yet.

belgo · 23/11/2007 16:39

tell him it's a present for someone else. And HIDE IT SOMEWHERE HE WON'T FIND IT!

dd1 3yrs 10mths knows mummy & daddy put things into the en-suite then they go to fc so as is busy and asked for help.

They are wrapped and put into loft so they 'disappear'.

Liitle Lapin, sorry to crash in on this thread, but I think you may have sent me another beautiful box of chocolates today (there was no card) If so THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU - it is the nicest thing that has happened to me today (even better than putting them all to bed!!!!!) You are great.

MilaMae · 23/11/2007 19:21

It's the hiding it where they won't find it that's the problem.

We're soooo short of space we're wrapping everything in binbags and putting them under our bed and in the wardrobe. I can't find anything but old Radar eyes notices the only tiny bit of bin bag that had worked a bit loose.

It was something he really wanted for Xmas so have to give it to him. Do you give your dc presents from you on xmas day? New to this, god you've got to be one step ahead haven't you. Just realised we're going to have to buy some FC Xmas paper and smuggle it in otherwise they'll all twig he has the same paper as us.

Going to have to make dd's dollshouse before the big day as dp has a habit of making a meal of these things and don't fancy being up till the small hours like last year. Where on earth am I going to stash a made up dolls house in a house the size of a rabbit hutch????

We're so moving before next Xmas.
