It all seems so bizaar and grown up getting my husbands secretary something, but need help! She's about 25. Am thinking benefit stuff???
I hope I don't sound like an idiot, but if I leave it to him, he'll end up giving her M & S vouchers on Christmas Eve!

Help! Please! x

An afternoon off x

I think hana has the idea, Molton Brown stuff is so gorgeous, my dd (little minx) is always trying to knick mine.

Make sure it's something she can exchange. I'd head for John Lewis for inspiration.

geordiemacminx · 23/11/2007 09:39

Think the boots card is the right idea - not too "personal" but thoughtful enough? If she is into Benefit make-up then its a great idea - if not then its a bit of a waste? SpaceNK do some lovely gift sets for around £40

HappyMummyOfOne · 23/11/2007 09:44

I think the boots gift card is the best idea too, she can pick her own makeup or bath goodies to suit her taste and will probably be able to get more for her money in the sales. You could always get a box of chocs to wrap up with the card if you want to give something gift wrapped.

Chanel do some beautifully wrapped treats - nice to buy something she might not buy herself. Also Clinique do nice body scrubs and lotions (sets at this time of year) that aren't perfumed if you don't know what scent she likes.

for something different, www.bloom.uk.com do the most beautiful silk flowers - their orchids are only £18 and everyone thinks they're real.

Thank you guys, that's a big help, loads of ideas there. Am currently thinking molten brown. I think she'd be delighted with the boots card, but I want it to look like he's really thought about getting her something as she's a bit of a gem really.
