inspiration for present for my Gramps please!

Ok, Gramps is 95. He lives in his own house and is reasonably mobile. He does gradening because he thinks he should rather than getting any enjoyment. He watches TV and does crosswords. Doesn't really read. He doesn't really need or want new clothes or shoes. In the past I've got him calendar of DS, photos of DS, whiskey, sweets, socks....but really could do with some inspiration for something different this year.
Any ideas??

what about an activity day or i am thinking of dinner on a steam train for mine next year but obviously not everybody lives near these, but something along those lines

does he watch videos?

no he hasn't got a video & don't think he'd be interesyted. I usually package togethera hamper but wouldn't mind something a bit different. Need to look into activity day. Will now go and look at past times - thanks!

a couple of years ago we got dh's gran a little chrome wine rack (to take those small 1 or 2 glass bottles of wine) so now we can buy her a few little bottles every christmas to fill it up
