dd1 (5) really wants an nintendo ds

i am v tempted even though its a bit over budget

shuold i get the ds lite? is it better/worse? will she really use it? shed like the nintendogs game definitely - what other games are there? i saw one where you could record your own praises!

and can you buy replacement stylus'? i just know she will lose it

DS has one and he's not 5 until Feb - he loved my nephews and could work it very well so we bought him his own.

Lots of childrens games available and most are easy to work out without instructions.

i have bought dd one for her birthday (she is 5 3 weeks after xmas) there are loads of games out for her, disney princess,ariel,nintendogs,super mario,sonic,disney cars,disney friends. they also have games to help them with their reading and spelling.the ds actually comes with 2 pen thingies
