This year, me and other half have decided to stay at home with the kids and not go anywhere. Being pregnant too, I just feel like chilling out in my own home and letting the kids play with they new plastic junk rather than packing them all into the car and travelling to relatives. I don't think I'm being unreasonable as every year before now we have always gone somewhere else. I don't even want anyone here on Xmas day, just me plus 3 plus bump! xx

Christmas Day here is me, DH and 5yo DD. It is our special family day - the one day in the year that is just for us together.

In the morning we will wake when DD gets up - no going downstairs until 7am though. DH and I will have a champaagne breakfast. DD will have juice and no doubt the chocolate in her gifts

The morning is spent opening presents - we take it in turns to open one each. And then playing.

We will have something yummy for Christmas Dinner at lunch time. More wine for me and DH.

Afternoon is time for playing with presents and maybe watching a film on TV. We don't make a proper tea - we just have things in we can pick at such as salads and bread, etc.

DD will then go to bed when she is tired, and DH will continue with the wine and films, etc.

Boxing Day is the family day when my parents, brother and sister, sister's biyfriend, and PILs come over.
