I would like to get my niece some make-up for Christmas. I have a pretty small budget. I was thinking maybe some lip glosses, or something like that.

Which shop or brand do you recommend?

What's cool but (again) not too pricey?

I'm so out of touch!

Thank you for the link mmj - will explore.

Budget... under a tenner. About 7ish pounds would be good.

my dd had a Claire's gift voucher for her birthday...she just loved doing the choosing for herself

BroccoliSpears · 21/11/2007 22:58

Bnevertoo... is so lovely, but a bit pricey. Will look for Hard Candy, but not worry too much about getting a 'funky' brand if anything goes.

Claires is a good thought.

I saw it... but I didn't realise it was reduced from £17.99. Blimey! I think we have a winner.

Would people really spend nearly twenty quid on a few little smudges of gloss in a case?

Thanks mmj.
