That's it really, thanks And where do you get them? They are like lego, but big.

megablocks?
chunky bright tings?

got them online somewhere but saw them in john lewis and woolies recently
you can get cars and motorbikes and people too?
we have uncle barney and erica (as named by ds of course)

PhoenixCymru · 21/11/2007 00:24

I think they're called megablocks? toys r us or argos or woolies may do them.

LadyOfWaffle · 21/11/2007 00:43

Found megabloks in argos but it says 4+, then I saw them (with a better picture, it is the ones I was thinking about) and it says 18 months plus (I think, or 2+). That's what confused me! Is duplo alot smaller than mega blocks?

lofw
i tend not to bother with the age range recommendations if the toys dont have little swallowable bits etc..
ds had these since he was 2-ish

i dont know about duplo, dont have any

have you decorated his bedroom? how did it go?

NAB3littlemonkeys · 21/11/2007 10:46

There is a set before the Duplo which is for ages 2-5 but I can't remember the name.

runnyhabbit · 21/11/2007 10:50

Ds1 has had megablocks since he was 1. Agree with Hairy Irene about the age range thing

harleyd · 21/11/2007 10:52

ds2 is 14 months and plays with megablocks
i wouldnt worry about the age thing either

EmsMum · 21/11/2007 10:54

My DD had some of the pre-duplo lego - Primo IIRC but frankly it was overpriced and not very good. She got megablocks when

Its called quatro and is made by lego. It is suitable from 12 months upwards.
