I search in vain every year
I don't want the felt ones, I want a colourful nobbly-textured oversized sock, I suppose. Or even a pair.

I want them a bit like this. Please help before I spend £20+ on a stocking

I think these are beautiful - we bought two last year and I totally heart them ... don't think you can get them personalised, though.
But less than £20

Oh, I've got 2 just like those that my mum gave the dss but I think she got them in the States. Could any of the US mumsnetters buy and send them to you, I wonder? I love the Aspen&Brown ones too. they're lovely.

Thanks for the Aspen and Brown link!!

I'm in because I wanted to buy them from Plumo.com but was putt off by the price - they have the nerve to put the same items on sale for £29.00!!!!
Grrrrr ......

Countingthegreyhairs · 21/11/2007 22:08

CORRECTION! Um, actually, before Plumo.com take out proceedings against me, have just realised that the Aspen and Brown one's are £7.95 EACH so please ignore previous posting - I should obviously go to bed and lay off the red wine ....

oh man, fp, I saw those aspen and brown ones, but wondered if they were acrylic (fgs, it's not like the dcs will be wearing them). So I've already ordered the US jobbies (postage is £10). The lady sounded lovely.

someone needs to launch handknitted wool personalised stockings in the UK...

There were some lovely red and white knitted ones in John Lewis this morning. Similar to the ones you linked to, but not personalised.
