My 3 1/2 year old daughter is mad about dolls, so even though that was her main present last year, I'm getting her another one this year. Last year she got Baby Born and it's rubbish. You have to fill it to the brim with water and then pump it's arm like mad, to make it cry. It doesn't make any sounds and it's really rock hard and difficult to move about. I've been looking around and like the look of these ones, but would like recommendations please as I made such a crap choice last year:
Baby Alive (is it worth forty quid?)
Little Tikes Lilly Tike
Learning Chou Chou
Fisher Price My Baby
Thank you

My DD has the baby Annabel that crys wich she's had since 2.5yrs and it's been a great hit (now 4.5). This year she really keen on the Baby Alive as she wants one that you can feed and change and I think this one looks good. But as you say expensive plus you are then tied to buying the darn packs of food etc for it!

From your list I would either go for the Baby Alive or the Fisher Price My Baby.

Or you could get baby Millie at ELC and she comes with a free wooden high chair.
