Toy Kitchens

Someone got lots of great suggestions on dolls houses recently and I wonder if anyone can help me with toy kitchens - I've been meaning to get my 4 yr old dd one for quite a while and will try again this year.

I got this one for my two a couple of years ago. It's very plastic fantastic and takes quite a bit of putting together. But they have played and played with it. It's got loads of features, comes with quite a few accessories that we've gradually added to. Altogether very successful for us. Just after I'd bought it I saw a couple of posts on here saying it wasn't great quality and bits of it had broken quite easily. Luckily that hasn't happened here (although when I come to think about it the pan handles didn't last too long!). Something to bear in mind with any plastic toy I guess.

DD was given the disney princess one last year. ots currently half price at Toys r us (now £30)

it makes some sounds and has a few accesories. DD loves it as she is very much into the whole disney princess thing anyway.

i think its reasonable quality too

I like the elc one we got for ds. this one - we got same offer. Offer means you get toy food/accessories free with it.

There are a few things to be wary of - if you stand on the doors they will come off, but will easily clip back in ime. The main problem is if your child pours/drops something down under the sink bit (which lifts out) as it is practically impossible to get in there.

But after nearly 2 yrs of use (I think) and ds is rough with it, it is still in good condition adn he still plays with it alot.

Is plastic so not as hardwearing as wood, but good value for what you pay for it imo.
