An all-singing, all dancing Magimix and some bits and bobs (books, dvds etc)

Grouchyoscar · 11/11/2007 14:03

Technical Lego combine harvester. Some DVD's

LaDiDaDi · 11/11/2007 14:04

I was going to buy him a Chiminea thing for the garden as he likes fire but I've decided it's unseasonal so he will get one for his birthday in Spring instead. Now I've got no ideas for Christmas.

Mine's getting a personal dab radio. I wanted to get him one with a MP3 player included but they are toooo pricey!
He'll also get some bits and bobs.

MarkStretch · 11/11/2007 14:47

Ooooh a chinimea- I really want one of those! Might be better for his birthday in July though. So far I am getting one of those whistle alarm things for your keys as he is always losing them. That's it though! Unless I think of anything else he's getting a £3.50 xmas!

So did we Cod, I love having it blazing on these cold dark nights.

prufrock · 11/11/2007 14:51

I've ordered dh one of these digital photo frames for his desk at work - it was getting cluttered. YOu can set it to slideshow changing every 30 minutes, so he can have lots of diferent photos of the kids whist he's at work.

They are still v ££ for what they are too, imo.

sockmonkey · 11/11/2007 14:59

DH loves cookery programmes, so I am going to try and make him a windowsill herb garden.

tissy · 11/11/2007 14:59

my dh wants a duffle coat

not sure I can bring myself to buy it, though.......

NomDePlume · 11/11/2007 15:00

I may also stretch to an iPod nano for him, but might not be able to cash-wise as it's also his birthday at the end of the month (which I've already spent £200 on).

weebleswobble · 11/11/2007 15:01

I've bought dp lots of Molton Brown shower goodies most of which have fragrances that are strangely unisex

RustyBear · 11/11/2007 15:08

Tesco have digital frames for £39.99. We're buying one for MIL.

I was going to buy DH the complete Jeremy Brett Sherlock Holmes for Chrismas but then he saw it reduced somewhere & bought it for himself, so now i have no ideas again - and it's his birthday on December 11th too.

A watch and some dvds. His birthday's 2 weeks after Christmas too, so probably clothes and a CD for that.

cadelaide · 11/11/2007 15:13

books

And a virtually indestructable remote controlled plane

ShinyHappyRocketsGoingBANG · 11/11/2007 15:13

A baseball shirt with DH's favourite band emblazoned across it.. costing over £40 + p&p from the US. Which I SO cannot afford but I know how much he likes it.. doesn't expect to get it in a million years.. and he is SO difficult to buy for that I pin my ears back all year and try to find out what he ants! I have got it wrong so many times

NomDePlume · 11/11/2007 15:22

cod, shuffle no good. needs to be 4gb min as he uses it for audiobooks.

MarkStretch · 11/11/2007 15:30

Doesn't really do books, he does clothes in a big way but all far too expensive for me and he's so fussy I would probably get it wrong, he does products so that's a possibility, and so far all he's asked for is more sweatbands for the gym (!).

God I've made him sound like a right chav now. He's not!
