Do people stop buying for nieces and nephews at 21, after full-time education or when, please?

My niece and nephew are 15 and 13, and for the last few Christmasses we have given them gift-vouchers. (From Game or HMV, or more recently I-tunes download vouchers) I also buy them a Lindt chocolate raindeer each.

Sorry, you actually wanted to know when to stop, I think we will carry on for a while. Even if it is just a token present. I don't think we will ever stop actually, dh's auntie still sticks a little something (usually chocolates) in the post to dh and myself.

Having said that, we only have one niece and one nephew, and know them quite well. If you have lots of distant nieces/nephews then the situation may well be different.

In our family nieces and nephews get presents/vouchers until they have their own children and then they get the presents instead.

I still buy for my 19 and 20 year old nephews but that is because I love them so much

Actually, I would rather buy for them than some of my siblings - which we still do since my stroppy sister insists that we all do hmm]
