Hi just thought I'd post this thread for any MN'ers that could do with a few suggestions......

GIFT BASKETS!!!!

I myself was stuck for ideas and saw someone on tv make up a pamper kit for the partner and it got me thinking....
so on to ebay i went and found a shop that sell handmade bath bombs and soaps at such cheap prices (loads to choose from) so i Bought £38 worth of them (sound expensive but wait for it) when i got them all delivered I realised i had more than enough to do 10 baskets.....thats not including the winnie the pooh sets i got (4 winnie character soaps in celophane bags already giftwrapped -10 bags in total- for £5.99) which i thought would be good for my 3 DD's and their teachers etc....

so from there I had another idea, instead of buying loads of big expensive toys for my 3 DD's (being 6 months pregnant and on budget) i decided to make them up a larger gift basket, which will include arts n craft stuff/hair accessories/costume jewelery/a few games/books/chocs etc etc etc you get the idea (most of which you can buy in pound shops)
I mentioned this idea to my dad who also wants to add to this, I can put all into a big storage box/basket (so will also be killing 2 birds with one stone cos can never have to many storage spaces when got kids) and wrap all up in 1 big prezzie so will look like they got more than what you might have spent on other toys/games.....also NOT AS MUCH WRAPPING TO BE DONE!!!!!!!! so not much mess on day

these are just 2 ideas that I am working on, but the point is you can put your own interpretation into same thing and make each basket/box personal for each individual you giving to.

What do you MN'ers think?
a winner?

I could also use some extra ideas esp for the men in my family.....i find they are the hardest to buy for LMAO

Leggy, not this yr maybe, but next you could turn this into a online business. You would make a mint.

What about a men's night in basket - some beers, peanuts, dvd? Or men's grooming - shower gel, shaving foam, deodorant?
