I want to get a DVD for my LO to start as a Christmas tradition. She's going to be one this year so want one that will be good for very little people!! The more christmassy the better!

I don't mean that I'll buy her a DVD every year, I want one DVD that can be watched every year for a few years!!

The Snowman.
Classic and all music.
Ds loves it and has started watching it already!

oooh - I'm not sure that I can listen to 'walking in the air' time after time.....?! Is it good enough to counteract that??

It all blends in after a while

Being American, I grew up with Frosty the Snowman, Rudolph, Santa Claus Is Coming To Town, Little Drummer Boy and Peanuts Charlie Brown Christmas. They're classics to me. They were on every December on the tellie. Luckily, I got them here at Woolies or at Amazon, so I can introduce my boys to them. If you can stand the American accents, then I recommend all the above. Also, Muppets Christmas Carol is great, but then I'm a huge Muppet fan!

You're right Kerry,
We've got the Grinch and I just love it! We read along too since I've got the book. Bit of a sad sack me!

our boys love the snowman.. probably just long enough for a one yr old.

..another fab favorite - although modern - is polar express - I have 2 boys and last year we used to snuggle up on the rug with our blanket and warm milk (link smiley: content, rosy, fire warmed faces) and get very excited by trains and Christmas..xx I've been hiding it and it will soon come out again to get us all in the Christmas spirit..xxxxx

The Wizard of Oz.

It makes no reference to Christmas at all, but it's mighty fine all the same!

JacketPotatoTeddy · 03/11/2007 19:45

The Muppets Christmas Carol

FieryGlassSlipper · 03/11/2007 21:49
