Looks like I picked the wrong week to give up mumsnet [wink]. Can I compare notes on what FC is bringing your 8 and 5 year old girls this Yule?

I think my 5 year old will be a doozy - she wants pixel chix, I have no idea what that is, or a Barbie horse

My 8 year old is harder - she always likes 'a surprise' - she 'doesnt want anything, she has everything'

I thought maybe a camera...I guess digital...but they are very expensive...

My friends 8 year old [sorry I do not have one] is looking for a Nintedo DS Lite this year.

My 7 year old son is also hoping to get a Nintedo Ds Lite.

are they really about £100? seems a lot

Enid · 31/10/2007 12:21

thanks bundy

I have heard bad reports of cheap digital cameras - lots of picture shake for example which I think would really put her off

MAYBE I will get her an old fashioned SLR

polaroids aer great but we have one

DD is 8. She originally wanted a Nintendo DS like her 10yr old brother. Now she's having a Shleich stable and a load of horses and ponies to go with it. MIL is giving her a waggon with a shire horse.
